Service Lifts

Service lifts move heavy palletised loads between levels in industrial premises, such as warehouses, distribution centres, factories, and workshops. Service lifts also transport stock between cellar and bar areas in pubs and nightclubs, and books or files in offices and libraries.

Dumb waiter service lifts move food and beverages from the kitchen to dining areas in pubs, hotels, and restaurants. They speed up customer service and mean waiters and waitresses do not have to climb stairs with hot meals and drinks – a dangerous practice that often results in accidents.

We are a leading supplier of service lifts in the UK and have over twenty-five years experience. Our service lifts are suitable for a wide range of applications. We also tailor build service lifts to specific customer requirements.

Service Lifts Reduce the Risk of Injuries

Service lifts reduce manual handling requirements, and the associated risk of workers suffering strain injuries, known as musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). MSDs usually occur in the back, neck, and legs. They have terrible health implications and cost businesses thousands of pounds each year in lost productivity, training replacement staff, and lawsuits.

Service lifts keep employees safe and help companies comply with The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992, legislation that governs the manual handling of loads in workplaces.

Service Lifts – The Right Choice

Proper advice and assistance is essential to ensure service lifts suit their application. Variables include travel distance, load capacity, power usage, and working position (e.g. floor level). We offer a full service, from initial planning and design through to installation and after sales care.

Our Service Lifts

We offer a complete range of service lifts – something to suit most requirements. It includes the ISO-C service lift, which lifts up to 300kg. ISO-C service lifts have bi-parting doors and require only a shallow pit, keeping building work and associated expenses to a minimum.

Also in our service lifts range is Titan, which carries loads of 1000kg up to thirteen metres. Titan service lifts are freestanding and require no wall or supporting structure. Doors latch in the open position to simplify loading and unloading, and user-friendly push-button controls are easy to operate. Companies use Titan service lifts to move heavy goods, such as automobile components.

Foster & Freeman Utilises Service Lift

We recently installed a Titan service lift at Foster & Freeman, an Evesham based company that designs and manufactures forensic instruments for police forces all over the world. Foster & Freeman’s devices, which include finger print identification systems, help authorities catch hardened criminals.

Foster & Freeman bought one of our Titan service lifts to move products from its upper level workshop to a lower level shipping area. It allows the company to dispatch goods to its customers efficiently. The lift performs reliably despite rigorous daily use.
