Disabled access specialists moveman have relaunched their website, giving the latest information about disability issues as well as the company's wheelchair and platform lifts.

Website visitors can visit a new technical drawings library to assess which lift will best meet their requirements.

Boyd Porter, Sales Manager for moveman said: "We are providing as much information as we can on the new website to help people think through what they need."

"Most of the customers who buy our lifts are building specialists who are fully aware of everything they should take into account when they specify wheelchair lifts. But others may be grappling almost single-handed with the implications of the Disability Discrimination Act. Through the website, people can find simple but comprehensive information which they can consider before they get in touch to talk it over with us."

moveman 's popular Stepping Out newsletter has become a quarterly eZine covering the latest developments in technology and legislation, as well as news about moveman 's products and customers. The eZine is published on moveman 's website www.moveman .co.uk and readers are being encouraged to make sure they receive the latest editions by registering on the site.

The site has links to the Otis group web site, moveman 's parent company, and the Centre for Accessible Environments. As an associate member of the CAE, the company has an input into the framing of UK and European wheelchair lift legislation.
